Formerly known as the Oman Dive Centre, the Muscat Hills Resort stands as the newest development under the Muscat Hills Group of Companies, launched on the 20th of November, 2016 to mark the 46th National Day of the Sultanate. A new landmark in the hospitality industry, the resort is located in the idyllic landscape of the Al Jissah Bay, and has been updated from the former Oman Dive Centre into a spectacular venue boasting of modern architecture and a fine dining and beach area.

‘This is what Oman has been waiting for’, said His Highness Al-Rawy Kais Al-Said, Chairman and CEO of the Muscat Hills Group. ‘I am thrilled and privileged to be the driving force behind a newer, more modern and truly ground breaking destination, such as this Muscat Hills Resort.’

Indeed, work began on the site in early 2016, involving a full renovation of the beachfront bar and restaurant, as well as the swimming pool, reception area and dive centre facilities. The new décor, clean and crisp, is reminiscent of the Mediterranean, and the tapas and fresh fish ice bar give off the feeling of a cool, chic beach club in Monaco. This new development is bound to attract locals and expats alike to unwind in, in one of the resort’s 35 updated Barasti beachfront huts. Weekends will feature live DJ performances for partygoers, while the new onsite dive centre offers various open water experiences including scuba diving, kayaking and snorkelling.

Phase 2 of the development will also see putt-putt and a 9-hole golf course being installed at the resort as well as the complete refurbishment of the accommodation. For further information call : +968 24853000  e-mail:
